The Global Energy Group has recently formed a joint venture agreement with the Cameroon Shipyard (CNIC).
This agreement has been formed to maximise opportunities for delivering IRM projects in the West Africa region.
CNIC are creating a bespoke rig repair facility at Limbe in Cameroon and recognise the expertise and track record of GEG in this market will form an ideal partner for them in developing this facility for future IRM projects.
CNIC have just secured funding for phase II of the development which includes the construction of a 300m multi- purpose quay with 12.5m water depth alongside.
GEG and CNIC signed the agreement when the CNIC General Manager Mr Antoine Bikoro visited Aberdeen.
